LE Group LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, number OC373628, registered office 16A Ashfield Way, Whitehall Industrial Estate, Whitehall Road, Leeds LS12 5JB. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Questions about this notice go to contact-us@the-le-group.com or 0113 279 8799.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you use the contact form, email us or phone, we collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number, the site address you give us and what you tell us about the job. We use it to answer your enquiry, prepare a survey or quotation, and deliver any work you instruct. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Clients and residents during works. If we carry out work in a home or building, we hold the information needed to plan and record it: addresses, access arrangements, appointment details and, where a landlord tells us, any access or vulnerability needs so that our teams can adapt to them. We record this because health and safety law and our licence conditions require us to plan and document the work, and because it lets us treat residents properly.

Tenders, frameworks and supply-chain applications. We keep the business contact details of people we deal with at client organisations, main contractors and consortia, under legitimate interest, so that we can respond to invitations and manage contracts.

Website. This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address for that request. The Ireland pages work the same way.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after two years. Records of work carried out are kept for as long as the law and our certification schemes require, which for asbestos work includes health and exposure records kept for forty years, and for fire safety work includes the installation records a building owner may need for the life of the building. Business contact details are reviewed every two years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask us to restrict how we use it. Email contact-us@the-le-group.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or, for our work in Ireland, to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Transfers outside the UK and Ireland

Our systems are hosted in the UK and the European Economic Area. Where a provider stores data elsewhere, it is under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
